QUEENS, NY--(Marketwire - February 10, 2010) - On February 13, 2010, a reception will be held in Queens, New York for the Colombian community. The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Natives Restaurant, located at 82-01 Northern Blvd, and in attendance will be Senator of the Republic of Colombia, Armando Benedetti. The host will be community leader Eduardo Giraldo.

In order to meet the most urgent needs of Colombian communities outside of Colombia, the reception serves as a community meeting aiming to create a space for dialogue, which becomes a mechanism for citizen participation within the community.
