Best-in-Class Survey Respondents Integrating Application, Information and IT Infrastructure Management

The study, "Information Architecture Agility: Maximizing Business Benefit," surveyed more than 125 IT and business decision-makers at enterprises across multiple market and business segments. The survey found that Best-in-Class respondents are:


--  nearly 1.5 times more likely than Industry Average and more than 2.5
    times more likely than Laggard companies to use performance monitoring,
    management, and optimization solutions focused on information availability
    and quality;
--  more than 1.5 times more likely than Industry Average and 1.67 times
    more likely than Laggard companies to use portals or dashboards for
    consolidating, integrating and role -driven reporting of management data;
    and
--  1.3 times more likely than Industry Average and nearly 2.5 times more
    likely than Laggard companies to have key professionals trained in
    information architecture agility concepts
    


The survey also found that Best-in-Class companies enjoyed important business benefits as a result of these efforts and investments. According to the research Best-in-Class companies achieved an average:

--  19.8% year-over-year increase in IT infrastructure operational
    efficiency and business responsiveness;
--  17.2% year-over-year increase in alignment of organizational IT
    efforts with the business mission; and
--  8.5% year-over-year decrease in unplanned downtime
