CompanionLink Supports Two-Way Wired and Wireless Synchronization With HTC HD2

Transfer Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes Between PC and HTC HD2

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - March 24, 2010) -  CompanionLink® Software announces two-way synchronization and backup between PC and the new HTC® HD2 with Windows® Mobile 6.5. CompanionLink offers multiple ways to synchronize contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes to HD2 - secure wired sync using a USB cable, automatic wireless sync via Google, and secure wireless sync via CompanionLink's subscription service. PC software such as Microsoft® Outlook®, Outlook Business Contact Manager, IBM® Lotus Notes, ACT! by Sage, Novell® GroupWise, and Palm® Desktop are supported.

CompanionLink's wired USB sync with the HD2 works through the cable that comes with the phone. The wireless sync to HD2 via Google lets people sync their contacts and calendar data to their Google account, which then syncs with HD2 using the free Google Sync service. CompanionLink's secure wireless sync is a convenient way to sync contacts, calendar and tasks to the native apps on the HD2. Two-way sync is supported in all methods so that changes made on the phone are updated in the desktop software. CompanionLink works seamlessly with the HTC Sense user interface.

CompanionLink's solutions are available for a one-time license fee starting at $39.95. Free telephone support is included. More details and a 14-day evaluation version of the software are available at www.companionlink.com/windowsmobile.
