Consolidated Abaddon Phase One Drill Program Completed on Raleigh Lake Lithium Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 9, 2010) - Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ABN) (FRANKFURT:E2L) (the "Company") has completed a seven hole, 1464 metres, diamond drilling program at its Raleigh Lake Lithium property located in the Kenora Mining Division in northwestern Ontario.

The phase one drill program was highly successful in confirming and expanding the known lithium mineralization at the property. Assays are now pending for cut core samples of intersected pegmatites. The assays will include lithium and a suite of rare earth minerals including tantalum and cesium. Pegmatite bodies were intercepted in all seven holes with several pegmatites in 10 to 11 metre thickness being found. The wall rocks to the pegmatites consist of a sequence of mafic volcanics and gabbroic intrusive bodies. These wall rocks are locally sheared, sericite altered and mineralized with pyrite, rhyolite and chalcopyrite. Selected wall rock zones have been sampled and will be assayed for potential gold mineralization.

The majority of the intersected pegamtites bodies are rich in spodumene. Spodumene is a lithium bearing silicate mineral and is a common lithium ore mineral in pegmatite mines worldwide. The spodumene at Raleigh Lake is light green in color, has distinctive crystal habit and is easily identified in drill core. The following table displays the pegamtite zones intersected in the drilling and identifies the qualitative degree of lithium mineralization based on spodumne content. The other targeted rare earth minerals are more difficult to identify but will be reported in the pending assays.

The Company is very pleased with what the initial drill program has shown. Once all assay data is received from the laboratory and geological reports are completed, Abaddon will be able to determine the size and quantity of a Phase 2 drill program for 2010.
