Constellation Software Inc. Acquires the Business Assets of DataNow Software

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 21, 2007) - Constellation Software Inc. ("Constellation") (TSX:CSU) announced today that it has completed, through its wholly-owned subsidiary N. Harris Computer Corporation ("Harris"), the acquisition of the business assets from DataNow L.L.C. ("DataNow").

As a result of the purchase, Harris will continue to provide sales, development and support to all of the existing DataNow customers as part of the InHance Division within Harris. All of the existing DataNow staff will continue to operate and support all DataNow customers from their existing facility in Twin Falls, Idaho.

"The acquisition of DataNow builds upon our strategy of providing customer choice while expanding the Harris product offering with a complete suite of governmental solutions" says Ponder Wright, Executive Vice President, Harris.

"Harris is gaining a very seasoned group of employees with a solid track record of providing quality solutions for their customers for over 25 years. The DataNow suite of proven governmental revenue solutions and a well received Payroll/HR system will strengthen our position in the governmental market space. We are very excited about the future of DataNow within the Harris family." said Jeff Bender, CEO of Harris.

"Harris provides us with long term stability" said, Wade Bond, General Manager, DataNow. "This will also open up our opportunities to take our products to a much larger market place. We are very pleased to be flying under the Harris banner."

"While the DataNow acquisition will not have a material impact on Constellation (DataNow has fewer than 10 employees), tuck-in acquisitions such as DataNow are a good example of Constellation's business model." said John Billowits, Chief Financial Officer of Constellation. "One of our primary goals is to become the premier supplier of software and services in each of our vertical markets. We accomplish this goal by capitalizing on organic growth opportunities and building our businesses via tuck-in acquisitions that provide us with increased market share and / or additional products to offer our existing customers."

DataNow is Constellation's tenth acquisition so far in 2007 and our sixteenth since we went public in May 2006.
