Consul-Teck Announces an Alienation of Shares

VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 8, 2009) - Consul-Teck Exploration Miniere Inc. (hereinafter, "Consul-Teck") (TSX VENTURE:IKI), announces that it has alienated during the period ranging from April 17th to June 8th, 2009 directly on the market the ownership of 962,000 common shares of International Kirkland Minerals Inc. (hereinafter, "Kirkland") (hereinafter, the "Common Shares"), for a total consideration of $31,270. On a diluted and non-diluted basis, this holding represents 4.65% of the Common Shares in the share capital of Kirkland as of June 8th, 2009.

As of this day, and after giving effect to the alienation of 962,000 Common Shares of Kirkland, Consul-Teck directly and indirectly holds 2,641,400 Common Shares of Kirkland. On a diluted and non-diluted basis, Consul-Teck currently holds 12.75% of the Common Shares of Kirkland issued and outstanding as of June 8th, 2009.

The Common Shares of Kirkland are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol IKI.

The Kirkland securities held by Consul-Teck, either directly or through allies, are for investment purposes. These investments shall be reviewed periodically and the holdings of Consul-Teck may be increased or decreased in the future, as deemed appropriate.
