Consulting Profession Honors Women Leadership

Inaugural "Consulting Achievement Awards" Honorees Announced

PETERBOROUGH, NH--(Marketwire - October 29, 2007) - "Consulting" magazine, the leading business publication for the consulting profession, announces the winners of the inaugural "Consulting Achievement Awards." This annual award is given to individuals who exemplify the attributes that make the consulting profession an invaluable resource for the client community.

Ever since its founding in 1999, "Consulting" has been a leader in celebrating positive change in the consulting profession around a wide variety of issues ranging from career accomplishment, to professional/life balance, to diversity and beyond.

While women continue to make progress in consulting leadership -- as "Consulting" magazine's awardees attest -- there is still much to do and far to go in achieving widespread diversity generally and parity for women in particular.

These honors provide an opportunity for the consulting community to recognize the importance of diversity in our profession. The editors of "Consulting" hope that by shining the light of achievement on these five examples of excellence, they will inspire women and minorities throughout the consulting profession.
