Contiki Vacations Partners With Concrete Wave Magazine and Vans Warped Tour to Present the 'Passport Program'

New Program Designed to Drive Traffic to the Tour's Not-for-Profit Area

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - June 21, 2010) -  Contiki Vacations, the leader in fun travel packages for 18-35 year olds, is partnering with Concrete Wave Magazine and the Vans Warped Tour this summer to present the first-ever "Passport Program." The program was designed to increase awareness and social responsibility in society's youth and to encourage concert-goers to give back to their community by supporting global charities.

Concrete Wave will publish thousands of copies of the "Warped Tour Passport" and up to 350 copies will be given out to attendees at each show. Participants must visit a minimum of eight booths in the not-for-profit area of the Warped Tour to receive a stamp in their passport as proof of their visit and support. All participants will be entered-to-win a variety of amazing prizes including a grand prize London and Paris travel package from Contiki.

"The Warped Tour attracts a variety of activists who enjoy supporting global causes," says Michelle Murray, Contiki's Director of Marketing and Key Accounts. "We encourage today's youth not only to travel globally but to think globally and be cognizant of international social issues that affect humanity. We're excited to be involved in this education process and increase awareness through the Warped Tour Passport Program."

Featured booths in the not-for-profit area include a variety of charities supporting global philanthropic efforts, such as PETA, Music Saves Lives, Invisible Children, Greenpeace, Boarding for Breast Cancer, Amnesty International, Keep a Breast, John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, Rock for Autism, Grind for Life, and others.
