Cordys Expands U.S. Operations

Chief Strategy Officer Heads Recently Established New York Office; Chicago-Based Alliances Director and Sales Director to Drive U.S. Business Development

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 16, 2006 -- Cordys, a provider of industry-leading SOA solutions, today announced the next phase of its global expansion focused on increasing capacity to service existing and new global clients headquartered in the U.S.

The appointment of Peter Bals as Vice President Enterprise Solutions and Chief Strategy Officer for North America coincides with the opening of Cordys' New York office that builds on Cordys' already established presence in Chicago and San Francisco. Bals will focus on further developing Cordys' financial services customer base in the U.S., building on the recent addition of ABN AMRO Insurance, AXA, Fortis and Interpay as customers.

To meet growing demand in other key sectors, Cordys also announced the appointment of John Cordell as Director of Alliances and Business Development, and Kevin Humbert as Director of Sales. Both will be based in Chicago and will focus on further expanding Cordys' U.S. customer base and partnership network.

Peter Bals, Vice President Enterprise Solutions and Chief Strategy Officer for North America, brings a wealth of experience in designing and delivering real-time SOA based solutions to financial services companies, including AIG, Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. Cordys' newly established New York office will enable the company to further develop its growing stable of global financial services customers.

John Cordell, Director of Alliances and Business Development, brings over 20 years of alliances and channels management experience from Oracle, Sybase, Vitria and, most recently, Savvion. He will focus on expanding the Cordys U.S. alliance program by forging new partnerships to better serve Cordys' customer base while expanding existing partnerships such as Capgemini in North America.

Kevin Humbert, Director of Sales, brings over 25 years of sales and management expertise focused on technology solutions for financial services and comes to Cordys from TIBCO Software, where he spent the last ten years helping customers to implement service oriented architectures.
