Corporate Ticket Index Shows 28% Increase From November 2008 to 2009 in Ticket Utilization

The index, which tracks key metrics regarding corporate ticket utilization, shows the utilization of corporate owned inventory across all North America venues was 67% for November 2009, which is up 28% from November 2008. The corporate ticket utilization trend continues to rise year over year.

"Similar to October results, I am pleased to see the year over year increase," said John Wallace, General Manager of TicketOS. Club and stadium seating averaged 70% while suite seats averaged 64% for October. November results represent the majority of NHL and NBA tickets as both leagues are in the second month of their respective seasons. For the second month in a row the NFL leads all major leagues with the highest corporate ticket utilization according to Wallace.

Corporate spending on sports and entertainment tickets increased by 60% over November 2008 results. Wallace believes this trend will continue in 2010 as corporations continue to entertain and utilize tickets for business development purposes.
