Costume Clad Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Volunteers will Greet Morning Commuters and Collect Money to Help Children in Malawi and Rwanda go to School

What: Wednesday, October 31 is National UNICEF Day, declared by the
Federal Government in 2000 as a day that recognizes the 52-year
tradition of Canadians participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF.

To celebrate National UNICEF Day and Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
campaign, UNICEF Canada volunteers will dare to be seen in costume
at the Byward Market and select Ottawa street corners to raise money
for UNICEF's work - no doubt raising a few spirits as well!

When: National UNICEF Day, Wednesday, October 31
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Where: Interview/Photo Opportunity at the Byward Market (William St. Mall
and the George St. entrance to the Bay)
UNICEF Canada volunteers will also be collecting money and raising
awareness at Eglin St. and at the campuses of Carleton and
University of Ottawa.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign and share how children and adults
