Crosslands Energy Corp. Appoints New CEO

FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwire - February 15, 2010) -  Crosslands Energy Corp. (PINKSHEETS: CRDY) today announced that David Hayslip had resigned as President, Chief Executive Officer, and from all other officer positions previously held by him as well as from the Company's board of directors for personal reasons effective February 9, 2010. Upon being notified of Mr. Hayslip's impending resignation, the Company's board of directors promptly contacted Garrett Vogel, a highly qualified and successful businessman in Dallas, Texas, who has assumed the officer and director positions vacated by Mr. Hayslip.

Mr. Vogel has more than 30 years experience as an entrepreneur, manager and consultant in various financial, operational and chief executive officer capacities in numerous industries. He co-founded and was Chief Financial Officer of a company that was on the "Inc. 500", the annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the United States prepared by Inc. magazine. This company ultimately was acquired by a NYSE company.

Mr. Vogel presently is a partner in the investigative firm, Forensic Financial Consultants. He also is a consultant to, or a director of, several public companies. Further, he currently serves on the Dallas County Treasurer's Citizen's Advisory Board and is a Trustee of a not-for-profit foundation. He is a long-time invited attendee to the SEC's Government-Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation. He served on the City of Dallas Mayor's Commission on Capital Formation and was appointed by the Dallas City Council to the City's Human Services Commission and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center's Board of Directors. Mr. Vogel holds a B.A. degree from Southern Methodist University and an MBA degree from the University of California-Berkley.
