DAC Technologies Announces Expansion of Product Lines and New Business

LITTLE ROCK, AR--(Marketwire - October 9, 2007) - DAC Technologies (OTCBB: DAAT) today announced that it has expanded its product line offering to include household cleaning items, fireplace equipment and additional camping tables. The Company has received orders from Wal-Mart for three lines of cleaning dusters, to begin shipping in early November, valued at approximately $2.5 million annually. The Company has also received orders from Wal-Mart for a large roll-top outdoor camping table, to begin shipping in January 2008, valued at between $1.1 and $1.2 million annually in revenue. Both the cleaning dusters and camping table are module (permanent) items that will be featured in Wal-Mart stores on a year-round basis. In addition, the Company delivered a line of solid hardwood fireplace bellows to Wal-Mart in September that will be carried on a six month seasonal basis.

The duster line will consist of three different products:

-- Micro fiber dusters
-- Ostrich feather dusters
-- Lamb's wool dusters

The Company will continue to expand its household cleaning products into other items such as additional dusters, mops, brooms, brushes and sponges. A joint research study conducted by Sanitary Maintenance magazine and ISSA value the distributor sales market for supplies and accessories at $2.5 billion in 2006, with brooms and brushes accounting for 10.4% and dusters and dust mops, excluding micro fibers, at 5.6% of that market.

DAC Technologies also announced that it will be developing a full line of fireplace equipment in addition to the solid hardwood fireplace bellows for the fall of 2008.

David A. Collins, Chairman and CEO, stated, "The Company has achieved significant recognition for our consistent performance in the various product lines that we supply, and as a result, we are finding that expansion of our offerings with Wal-Mart has been growing substantially. While the initial rollout of these new products will be to Wal-Mart, the Company will be offering them to other customers as well. We intend to continue to expand our product base and have also commenced a program to tell the investment community of our success by retaining the nation's oldest investment relations firm, Chicago-based Martin E. Janis & Company, Inc."
