DC Brands International Announces a Modified Relationship With Cold Front Distribution, LLC

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2010) -  Today the company DC Brands International, Inc., a publicly traded company under the ticker symbol (PINKSHEETS: DCBR), announces a modified distribution relationship with Cold Front Distribution, LLC.

Management from both DC Brands Intl, Inc. and Cold Front Distribution, LLC met following the announcement of the agreement reached between Acosta and DC Brands Intl, Inc. and concluded that the previously announced $1.2 million purchase order will not be delivered.

Sales within the King Soopers account has remained consistent for the first quarter, and distribution throughout our retail accounts will not be interrupted by the transition to Acosta. Consequently, Cold Front submitted a purchase order and took delivery of product as recently as yesterday.

Richard Pearce, the Company's CEO and President, said, "It is obvious that our decision to create a relationship with Acosta, to provide national sales and marketing, going forward, has precipitated a modification to our distribution relationship with Cold Front. However, the catalyst for us to pursue a relationship with Acosta was directly related to some performance issues with Cold Front. We truly believed that the H.A.R.D. Nutrition Brand would be available in many more retail locations than we currently are. Further, the troubling occurrences of out-of-stock, inaccurate scanning and pricing, and shelving discrepancies should be alleviated by engaging the assistance of Acosta.
