DC Brands International Announces a Clarification to April 13, 2010 Statement

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - April 15, 2010) - Today the company DC Brands International, Inc., a publicly traded company under the ticker symbol (PINKSHEETS: DCBR), wishes to clarify certain statements in the April 13, 2010 press release, addressing modifications to its relationship with Cold Front Distribution, LLC. 

Richard Pearce, the Company's President and CEO, said, "I received a call from Dave Roberts, the President of Cold Front Distribution, in which he stated his concerns that the statement made by DC Brands directed blame and responsibility for the troublesome market place conditions at the distribution efforts of Cold Front. This inference was not the intent of the April 13, 2010 statement, and subsequently not the rationale for the Company to pursue a relationship and agreement with Acosta."

Pearce continued, "I believe Dave and his team at Cold Front have tried hard, and have done a good job, in distributing the H.A.R.D. Nutrition brand, and personally apologize for any misunderstandings or ill will created by our most recent Company statement. Further, I wish to clarify that our motivation to pursue a relationship with Acosta was simply addressing economies of scale, and our plan to expand to a nationwide consumer audience. As the recent Company statement indicated, Cold Front has just taken delivery of yet another order of product, and will continue to distribute H.A.R.D. Nutrition. Cold Front will remain a good partner, and I look forward to our continued mutually beneficial relationship."
