NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 11, 2006 -- Just a few weeks after its debut, Dangerous Muse's video for "The Rejection" has made it to the #1 spot on Logo's video countdown show, "The Click List," out-charting videos by such major acts as Justin Timberlake and Madonna. This success is the latest in a year of accomplishments for Dangerous Muse. In April the duo of Mike Furey and Tom Napack were chosen to appear on the cover of The Advocate's annual music issue. Shortly after, Dangerous Muse were named "Ones to Watch" by Out Magazine and in July the band was the focus of a multi-page fashion spread shot by renowned photographer, Dahlen, for Flaunt Magazine. Dangerous Muse have currently reached over half a million plays on MySpace!

Furey, 23, and Napack, 21, met at NYC's Fordham University on a production of The Who's "Tommy" and have been writing songs together ever since.

After catching the attention of Sire Records founder Seymour Stein, Dangerous Muse recorded and released "The Rejection" EP, their first for Cordless Recordings, the newest addition to the Warner Music Group's family of labels. Cordless distributes their digital product through various online and mobile outlets such as iTunes, NAPSTER, Real/Rhapsody and so on.

Next up for Dangerous Muse is the digital release of their 6-song EP, "Give Me Danger," produced by Ted Ottaviano (Book of Love).
