Daniel Oh, COO of Renewable Energy Group, to Be Keynote Speaker at Infocast's Biodiesel Finance & Investment Summit

Summit Is the First Major Alternative Fuels Event to Take Place Since the December 19th, 2007 Passage of the Landmark Energy Bill

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 4, 2008) - Daniel Oh, the COO of Renewable Energy Group (REG), has agreed to join Infocast's Biodiesel Finance & Investment Summit as the event's Keynote Speaker. Mr. Oh, whose company accounted for 25% of the country's biodiesel production in 2006 and is currently in the process of going public, will offer his perspective on the opportunities and challenges that the new energy bill will have on the biodiesel industry. The timing of his message is fortuitous as the Summit, scheduled for January 14-16, 2008 at the Princeton Club in New York City, is the first major alternative fuels event to take place since the passage of the landmark energy bill this past December.

Gene Gebolys, the President and CEO of World Energy Alternatives, will deliver the Keynote Address on the morning of Wednesday, January 16th. A renowned pioneer in the relatively young biodiesel industry, Mr. Gebolys will headline a roster of nearly 35 speakers from the biodiesel development and financial communities including Todd Alexander of Chadbourne & Parke, Chris Sorrells of NGP Energy Technology Partners, Roger Conway of the USDA, Christopher Groobey of Baker & McKenzie and a highly-anticipated session moderated by Peter Moss, President of Frazier Barnes & Associates, on the lightning-hot topic of feedstocks.

A workshop, "How To Finance A Biodiesel Project," will precede the Summit on Monday, January 14th and will feature a distinguished faculty including Robert Vincent of West LB Securities, Scott McDermott of Ascendant Partners and Nathan Burk of FC Stone, among others.
