Daptiv Expands Management Team, Names Mark Klebanoff COO

New Leadership in Product Management, Operations and Sales Departments Sets the Stage for Next Phase of Growth at Collaboration Company

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - November 18, 2009) - Daptiv, the on-demand leader in collaborative business software, announced today that Mark Klebanoff, a veteran enterprise executive, has been named chief operating officer. Daptiv also expanded its product management and sales operations leadership. These changes follow the appointment of Chase Franklin as President and CEO and are part of Daptiv's larger plan to take the mid-stage enterprise collaboration software start-up to the next level.

Mark Klebanoff joined Daptiv in 2008 as chief financial officer and will retain that role. As COO he will expand his focus to include all operational aspects of the business, including streamlining operations to allow Daptiv to accelerate its growth. Klebanoff has worked with a number of successful start-ups, including M:Metrics, AccessLine Communications and RealNetworks, where he was instrumental in the company's early capital raising efforts including its 1997 IPO.

"Mark Klebanoff was brought to Daptiv to establish a new level of financial and operational execution and we are ready to make that happen," said Chase Franklin, CEO of Daptiv.

In another key addition to the Daptiv management team, Rich Koehler has joined Daptiv as the company's first vice president of products. Koehler was previously vice president of product management for Amdocs Interactive, where he led the launch of an open platform for next-generation mobile content and applications, serving hundreds of millions of subscribers worldwide. He has more than 12 years of experience in the design and development of highly scaled Internet-based services and brings a wealth of strategic and tactical product expertise to the team. He will serve as a champion for product direction, helping guide Daptiv's strategy for both existing and new products.

"Rich brings world-class perspective and product leadership to Daptiv. He was instrumental in the high-stakes product rearchitecture that enabled Qpass' successful restart in late 2002," said Franklin. "The addition of strong and experienced product leadership at Daptiv will allow us to leverage our valuable technical and operational assets, creating a tremendously successful company."

Susan George was named vice president of sales operations, formerly serving as director of sales operations at Daptiv. She is a veteran Daptiv executive, working for more than six years on new sales initiatives ranging from sales execution systems to the creation of the account management team. George will apply that insight to her focus on customer lifecycle strategy, and build programs that will ensure customer success in both the short and long term.

Brad Demeter was named vice president of sales for North America. Demeter has extensive experience working with both midmarket and enterprise organizations, previously serving as Daptiv's director of sales. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales and business development at PEMCO Corporation Computer Services and spent more than a decade in sales at Compuware.
