Data Center Executives Honored at the Inaugural Data Center Executive of the Year (DaCEY) National Awards Gala 2007

DaCEY Awards Program Honors Data Center Executives in Atlanta, Georgia

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - November 19, 2007) - Executive Alliance, creator and provider of premium leadership-recognition forums and events worldwide, announced today the winners of the DaCEY National Awards 2007.

In its first year, the Data Center Executive Summit Featuring the DaCEY Awards was a resounding success. The Crowne Plaza Ravinia Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia was the place to be on November 15, 2007 as the DaCEY Awards recognized data center executives. Celebrating excellence in their industry, the nominees, finalists, and winners were recognized for outstanding leadership and contributions as architects and custodians of data.

Finalists in the DaCEY Architect Award Category were -- Lee Provow, President, Global Operations, Premiere Global Services; Bill Montgomery, Manager of Information Systems Lulu.com; and David Guthrie, Chief Technology Officer, Premiere Global Services. DaCEY Operations Award Category finalists were -- Harry Richardson, Vice President, Governance, Systems Operations and Information Security and Privacy Office, Delta Technology; Harold Gilchrist, Director, IT Operations, The Home Depot; and Dan Traynor, Infrastructure Director, Southern Company.

The winner of the DaCEY Architect Award was Lee Provow, President, Global Operations, Premiere Global Services. He was recognized for providing cutting edge vision, insight and evaluation for and of data center design.

The winner of the DaCEY Operations 2007 award was Harry Richardson, Vice President, Governance, Systems Operations and Information Security and Privacy Office, Delta Technology. He was recognized for overseeing and guiding the effective and efficient use of technologies and infrastructure within a data center.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the nominees and executives participated in the Data Center Executive Summit, which included cutting-edge content, panels, and speakers. Providing a unique environment of information exchange and camaraderie, meetings included the Executive Forum, moderated by industry leaders -- Helen Berg, Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer, Merge Healthcare; Jeremy T. Gilbertson, Business Development Manager, Graybar Atlanta, AFCOM Member; and Dan Traynor, Infrastructure Director, Southern Company. Moderating a panelist discussion was CC Fridlin, P.E., Director of Product Management, Avocent Corporation. The panelists included Marc Germain, Senior Vice President, Operations, MassMutual Financial Group; Bill Montgomery, Manager of Information Systems, Lulu.com; and Bates Turpen, Senior Vice President Technical Operations, InterContinental Hotels Group.
