"Sex in the City," meets "glee," in this new musical comedy series following a blocked historical romance writer, Samantha Collins, as she looks for her Mr. Right through a series of very unfortunate dates. The clever, quirky comedy chronicles Sam's dating misadventures augmented by her active imagination and medieval proclivities to deliver a hilarious and sometimes humiliating window into her quest for Mr. Middle-Aged Right.

Creator/writer, Devin Mills, stars in the series as Samantha Collins who, in search of her modern day Cary Grant, has recently begun dating again after ending her 15-year marriage. "I got the idea for the series after leaving a long relationship, starting to date again, and listening to many of my friends' horror stories about dating at midlife," commented Mills. "I hope that 'Dating in the Middle Ages' brings humor to the old adage, 'looking for love in all the wrong places,' and inspires people to keep kissing those toads -- you never know when one will turn out to be a prince."

Actor John Schneider, recently joined the cast as Jake Hagarty, a charming new member of Samantha's writing group who may turn out to be her modern day Cary Grant.

From medieval fantasies to Lady Gaga-esque musical daydreams, "Dating in the Middle Ages" explores everything from cougars and cubs, to masochistic matchmakers and middle-aged man-children. With a well-heeled cast including film, television and Broadway veterans, and an award winning production team, "Dating in the Middle Ages" is sure to be a hit with audiences and critics.
