Datran Media's StormPost and Aperture Technologies Both Honored in Digital Advertising and Publishing Awards Ceremony

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - Today, Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company, is pleased to announce that it has been honored by the Digital Advertising and Publishing Conference (DPAC) in the 2009 DPAC award competition. Datran Media's email marketing and monetization platform, StormPost, won the "Best Email Platform" award and was also the key driver behind the "Best Email Campaign" award win for Datran Media client PGATOUR.COM, operated by Turner Sports. Additionally, Datran Media's Aperture audience discovery and targeting platform was named a finalist for the "Best Ad Delivery Platform" award in the DPAC competition.

The DPAC award competition is designed to recognize the groundbreaking work in multiple digital media categories including advertising campaigns, Web sites, creative, technology and direct marketing efforts. In the award for "Best Email Campaign," Datran Media and Turner Sports were recognized for a groundbreaking campaign in which live, streaming video was embedded into email creative promoting golf coverage on PGATOUR.COM, the official Web site of the PGA TOUR. The campaign generated a 34 percent click-through rate versus 14 percent in emails without video. The PGATOUR.COM campaign was powered by StormPost, which also took home the DPAC award for "Best Email Platform." PGATOUR.COM is the number-one site in golf and is managed by Turner Sports in conjunction with the PGA TOUR.
