David Romero, MC, LPC, MBA, Appointed Regional Director for CRC Health Group's Eating Disorder and Adult Weight Management Programs

CUPERTINO, CA--(Marketwire - December 22, 2009) - CRC Health Group, the nation's largest provider of behavioral health services, has announced the appointment of David Romero, MC, LPC, MBA, to Regional Director overseeing the company's eating disorder and adult weight management programs which include Carolina House, Center for Hope of the Sierras, Montecatini and Structure House.

Romero joins CRC Health with over 25 years of experience in counseling. His expertise lies in the areas of eating disorders, addiction, trauma and clinical management.

Previously, Romero served as Executive Director of Mirasol Eating Disorder Recovery Centers, an inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment facility where he supervised the clinical, business, marketing and operational aspects of the facility. Prior to this, Romero was District Director for a foster care and adoption agency, and served as Vice President of Counseling and Support Services for the Jewish Family and Children's Services of Southern Arizona. Romero was Director of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for US Airways/America West Airlines for nine years prior to operating his own consulting practice for eight that served the legal community and various mental health agencies in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Romero earned his Master of Business Administration from The University of Arizona, and his Master of Counseling Psychology and undergraduate degree from Arizona State University.
