Debunk the Grody Factor Myth With Honeywell Germ-Free Humidifiers

Honeywell New Ultraviolet Germ-Free Humidifiers Help You Sleep Soundly; Awake Refreshed and Rejuvenated

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - January 2, 2008) - We can't deny that the humidifier is the sacred solution for fighting winter skin, indoor allergies and easing the symptoms of children's colds, but many of us are haunted by the "grody" factor. There is a reputation out there that humidifiers breed germs and are impossible to keep clean. Well, say no more. A Honeywell Germ-Free Humidifier will help to kill water-bred germs and debunk this common humidifier myth.

Kaz has two new Honeywell Germ-Free Ultraviolet (UV) humidifiers that provide natural relief from dry air -- and give consumers the confidence of germ-free humidification.

The new Honeywell UV tower humidifiers come equipped with QuietCare™ technology, which delivers fresh, cool moisture up to 30% quieter than other cool moisture humidifiers. In addition, its UV germicidal technology allows water to be treated as it enters the water tray, reducing up to 99.9% of water-bred germs in the moisture output. The Honeywell humidifiers also offer independent humidity control, three moisture output settings and Protec Antimicrobial treated filters to help extend the life of the filter.

In addition, select Honeywell UV tower humidifiers come equipped with EasySet™ Electronic Controls, as well as an airwashing filter that cleans the air as it humidifies, helping to capture dust, dirt and pollen.

Kaz is also introducing a compact tabletop germ-free humidifier that produces a warm soothing mist. This warm mist version has a dual germ killing process (UV light and boiling) that kills up to 99.999% of water-bred germs. This humidifier is also equipped with a medicine cup to provide soothing vapors as well as an adjustable humidity control for extra comfort.

These Germ-Free Humidifiers are all independently laboratory tested and no liquid additives are needed to treat the water. They run up to 24 hours or more before being refilled (depending on the speed setting, room size and room moisture levels). As always, all Honeywell humidifiers come with a three-year limited warranty.
