Defense Contractor Selects Epic Data's Manufacturing Operations Labor Management System

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 24, 2010) - Epic Data (TSX VENTURE:EKD), a provider of manufacturing operations management and real-time data collection solutions, today announced the company has been awarded a contract by a leading U.S. defense contractor to enhance their enterprise manufacturing system by providing new labor management software functionality. The Epic Data system will provide the customer with greater intelligence tools to control the high value labor component in their sophisticated aircraft manufacturing operations.

The project has a very aggressive timeline with completion scheduled for the end of this year. Epic Data continues to work closely with the customer's project team to ensure that the solution meets their timeline and delivers the required results.
