Delta Airlines and Vodafone Join Zenprise to Discuss Best Practices for Mobile Management Automation at WES

Zenprise Demonstrating Award-Winning BlackBerry Remote Control Product in Booth #508

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - April 21, 2010) -  Zenprise, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise mobile management and device management software, today announced it will be leading a panel discussion with two of its flagship customers, Delta Airlines and Vodafone, during the BlackBerry Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES) 2010 event in Orlando April 27-29 at the World Center Marriott. Additionally, Zenprise will be demonstrating its BlackBerry Remote Control software, which recently won Government Computing News' Best of FOSE award in the "Software for Enterprise Systems" category.

The Zenprise session, "Using the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server v5.0 to Automate User Administration," takes place on Tuesday, April 27 at 4:30 p.m. EST. Leading the panel is Ahmed Datoo, vice president of marketing for Zenprise, joined by Michael Boutelle, advisor, server platforms for Delta Airlines, and Julius Lienemann, backend engineer for Vodafone Group Services. Attendees will hear how Delta and Vodafone are using BES in conjunction with Zenprise to automate day-to-day administrative tasks and learn which key features in the BES administrative interface are most useful for managing BlackBerry users and smartphones.

In booth #508, WES attendees can see Zenprise's recently-announced Remote Control software, which enables enterprise IT to remotely connect and view a user's smartphone screen in real time. The software eliminates many of the frustrations and challenges involved with traditional methods of resolving smartphone issues, where help desk representatives often attempt to fix user issues without ever seeing their device's screen.

By remotely navigating a BlackBerry's screen, help desk representatives can change configurations, troubleshoot operating system issues, and disable or kill problematic applications or processes in real-time. IT security personnel can use BlackBerry Remote Control to isolate and contain threats before they spread to other smartphones by remotely disabling network access, killing rogue processes, uninstalling BlackBerry mobile applications, and removing malware.

BlackBerry Remote Control also allows help desk representatives to remotely enable the device's ringer and call the smartphone, allowing the employee to find and retrieve lost or misplaced devices on their own. Undiscoverable or stolen BlackBerry devices can also be located and wiped to ensure corporate data is not compromised.
