Delta Systems Combines Real Time Automation, Motion
Control and Windows Enterprise Connectivity in Latest
SoftFlow Release

ROGERS, ARKANSAS--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 11, 2005) - Not for distribution
to U.S. newswire services or for dissemination by any means into the
United States. Any failure to comply with this restriction may
constitute a violation of U.S. securities laws.

Delta Systems, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DLT.S), a leader in automation and
motion control solutions for the consumer products industry, today
announced that its' wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta Controls, Inc., now
offers an upgraded software solution for enterprise-connected, real-time
industrial control.

SoftFlow™ 4.0 is based on Windows XP and RTX - a real-time extension
from VenturCom. The result is a single platform that delivers reliable,
secure, real-time machine control and robust enterprise connectivity.
The product supports seamless communications between plant-level
equipment and business-level systems to enable better-informed,
real-time decision-making that improves operating efficiencies. This
information exchange is critical as consumer product companies address
the challenges associated with product tracking, product recall and
compliance to FDA food safety regulations. SoftFlow 4.0 also provides
users with an enhanced array of real-time diagnostic tools and built-in
network functionality that improves equipment troubleshooting and plant
floor data collection.

"Combining state-of-the-art computing platform technologies together
with proven industrial controls is enabling a paradigm shift towards
real-time performance management (RPM), offering manufacturers enhanced
performance, security, interoperability, standards compliance and
real-time connectivity to business applications such as ERP systems.
Delta Systems, with their introduction of SoftFlow 4.0, is in a position
to take full advantage of this trend," according to Craig Resnick,
Research Director, ARC Advisory Group.

SoftFlow's integrated architecture provides advanced factory automation
and motion control software solution that enables customers to achieve
increased productivity, reduced operational costs and improved overall
quality. The product is differentiated in the market due to its
integration of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Motion
Controller MC, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems into a
standard, "one-box" PC platform.

"SoftFlow 4.0 is our most significant software upgrade to date, in terms
of end user functionality and benefits. Enabling customers to seamlessly
connect plant floor systems to enterprise networks while performing
mission-critical machine control, represents a tremendous value
proposition," said Steven Martin, Vice President of Delta Controls. "In
addition to the enhanced enterprise connectivity and many diagnostic
tools that a Windows-based platform provides, customers will benefit
from improved technical support, as Delta's Field Service Engineers will
be able to troubleshoot remotely via a virtual private network (VPN)
connection. We believe SoftFlow 4.0 further demonstrates our commitment
to providing our customers with best-in-class automation and motion
control solutions to help them excel in their respective markets."

The first customer installation of SoftFlow 4.0 is scheduled for
February 2005, and the product will be available for shipping shortly
thereafter. For more information on SoftFlow 4.0 please contact Vince
