Diamond Discoveries Provides Update on Timiskaming Project

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 7, 2006 -- Diamond Discoveries International Corp (OTCBB: DMDD) would like to provide to shareholders and potential investors a summary of activities relating to their joint exploration program with Tres-Or Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: TRS) in Quebec. On December 12th, 2006 in Sudbury, Ontario, the President and CEO of Tres-Or, Laura Lee Duffet will be a featured speaker at the Geoscience Symposium hosted by the Ontario Prospectors Association. The presentation which is titled "Discovering the Temagami-Timiskaming Diamond Treasures" will be made available on DMDD's website.

The project Operator, Tres-Or, has notified DMDD that a target has been identified on the Notre Dame du North (NDN) properties and is recommended for diamond drill testing. As per the option agreement between Diamond Discoveries (Canada) Inc. -- a wholly owned subsidiary of DMDD -- and TRS, $875,000 in exploration funding is to be expended on the Quebec properties in order for DMDD to earn up to a 50% interest in the NDN properties. The exploration funds will be spent over the next 20 months with the initial $250,000 being budgeted for winter drilling and a new target definition. The company expects to commence drilling within the next few weeks. The NDN properties are known to host 3 kimberlite pipes including the large 6 plus hectare Guigues pipe which was discovered by DeBeers in the early eighties and is being evaluated for further bulk testing.

In addition to the above programs, there has been considerable exploration activity in the Timiskaming area of Quebec by two other junior exploration companies, Contact Diamond Corp. and Superior Diamonds Inc. On November 23rd, 2006 Superior Diamonds announced the discovery of a new kimberlite body on its Ville Marie project located to the southeast of the NDN properties. Contact Diamonds announced on November 28th, 2006 the discovery of a new kimberlite pipe on its Baby township property northeast of the town of Ville Marie in Quebec. The Contact news release went on to say, "The discovery of one or more kimberlite pipes in the Timiskaming area with the potential to form an economic resource is a condition precedent for further large-tonnage sampling of 95-2." A mini-bulk sampling program completed in 2004 shows the 95-2 pipe to possess a commercial population of high-quality diamonds at marginally sub-economic grades.
