Dinerware Rated #1 in Total User Satisfaction

Dinerware Rated #1 in Hospitality Technology 2005 POS Scoreboard

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 30, 2005 -- Dinerware, Inc., the POS technology leader in restaurant touch screen systems, is pleased to announce the ranking of #1 in Total User Satisfaction in Hospitality Technology Magazine's 2005 POS Scoreboard. Dinerware also placed first in the categories of Total Cost of Ownership and Ease of Administration. The POS Scoreboard is published yearly by Hospitality Technology Magazine and is designed to give informative rankings as rated by restaurant and food operators.

Nearly 500 restaurant operators voted in the 2005 POS Scoreboard with the vast majority coming from smaller restaurant companies. This year's Scoreboard reflects a rise in industry awareness about the benefits regarding automation and the growing widespread adoption of POS technology from small to large operators.

"Technology is now available for restaurant operators who want to make quick menu changes and own a system that needs very little service or support," says Jeff Riley (CEO). "We are honored that restaurants voted Dinerware #1 in satisfaction as it directly reflects our company's progress in making restaurant POS much simpler and more effective than it has been in the past."

With a growing number of restaurant operators moving to automate and looking for a system they can easily manage on their own, many say access to data and functionality are top considerations in purchasing a system. Erin Fetridge (owner - The Stumbling Goat Bistro) says, "We opened our restaurant with the old tradition of paper and a cash register. Having worked in larger operations, we already knew the benefits of POS, but never considered it due to the expense. Dinerware was the solution we could afford. Our system is reliable, needs little to no service, and is easy to maintain -- as we frequently change menu items on our own. Dinerware has also contributed to our bottom line by increasing billing accuracy and reducing bookkeeping overhead. We can also readily analyze our sales in order to control our food costs while optimizing menu offerings."

The Stumbling Goat is a business that represents the demographic (restaurant operators) who voted for the 2005 Hospitality POS Scoreboard.
