Dios: Potential for a New Uranium District in Quebec

MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA--(Marketwire - Nov. 27, 2007) - Officers of Dios exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DOS) are pleased to announce the results from the conceptual research design of four (4) new uranium projects in Quebec and field prospecting and exploration work confirming high uranium potential of this area, furthermore enhanced by the preliminary results of an helicopter-borne radiometric survey recently completed.

The Upinor Project covers some 331 map designated cells in three claim blocks and a stratabound unit outcropping with continuous radioactive high counts per second (cps) in the order of several thousand cps up to 36,000 cps along this horizon have been discovered by ground prospecting over a 2 kilometer strike length. It consists of several radioactive sub-horizontal dykes one reaching some ten meters in thickness over an area of 600 m by 2 km within metamorphosed rocks (gneisses). Minerals such as a yellowish substance have been observed, as well as molybdenite, apatite and biotite. Several samples (70) have been taken for assaying. A detailed spacing low altitude helicopter-borne radiometric-magnetic survey was rapidly commissioned over the property and preliminary results received up to now show favourable high uranium/thorium ratios on the discovery area. The Upinor Project is held by Dios in a 50-50 partnership with Sirios Resources and Dios is operator. Field work was completed by IOS Services Geoscientifiques. The discovery of this thick and continuous sub-horizontal stratabound radioactive unit with high cps and good U/Th ratios is considered very significant by the Dios-Sirios exploration team. A Rossing-type high tonnage low-grade uranium model may be considered in association with numerous anatexis granites occurring within paragneisses (metasediments) of the Laguiche Basin. The Upinor property is located some 30 kilometers north of the Opinaca Nord uranium project.

DIOS also outlined three kilometric size radioactive outcropping areas on the Opinaca Nord project. The NW anomaly returned 1,300 to 20,550 cps over 1,000 m by 300 m. The NE anomaly located 20 km due east of the NW one, is characterized by 1,000 to 8,500 cps over a minimum area of 500 m by 300 m. The SW anomaly, located about 3 km south of the NE one, showed 1,500 to 16,000 cps over 2,000 m by 300 m. All the radioactive outcropping areas are underlain by granite or pegmatitic granite injected along a regional east-west trending structural corridor. Work completed up to now consisted mainly of large scale ground prospecting targeting the uranium lake sediment anomaly clusters and follow-up work is planned to fully evaluate the size of the radioactive zones and to systematically investigate a 25 km-long uranium lake sediment anomaly trend. Targeting the area for uranium, DIOS signed an option agreement to acquire a 50% interest in the property from Sirios for exploration expenditures and payments totaling 1,35 M$ last May. Located about 30 kilometers east of the Goldcorp Eleonore gold deposit, the Opinaca Nord property covers 300 sq. kilometer (576 claims) property encompassing the Laguiche sedimentary Basin.

The PAM uranium property is wholly-owned by DIOS and comprises 490 claims in two blocks totalling about 255 sq.kilometres. It is located some tens kilometers east of DIOS Uranium Opinaca Nord property. The PAM property is centered on a uranium lake bottom sediment anomaly major cluster from SDBJ data including 14 samples over 100 ppm U, reaching up to 830, 463, 271, 233, 187, 166, 138, 130, 130, 127, 123, 109, 107 and 105 ppm (parts per million) uranium along an east-west 40 kilometer trend. Previous government mapping shows that the PAM property is underlain by LaGuiche paragneisses (metasediments), granitic migmatites as well as dioritic intrusions deformed along several fold-hinges. The PAM project is also located just south of the regional Opinaca River structural corridor, along the same trend hosting the Opinaca Nord uranium project. Rossing-type high tonnage low-grade uranium as well as classic vein-type models may be considered in association with numerous anatexis granites occurring within paragneisses of the Laguiche Basin.

The U2 uranium property is composed of 274 contiguous claims (cdc) totalling about 140 sq. kilometres located about 30 km south of the Trans-Taiga road and of LaGrande-3 hydro-electrical reservoir. The property is owned 100% by DIOS EXPLORATION. The U2 property is centered on a uranium lake bottom sediment anomaly cluster from SDBJ data including 21 samples over 20 ppm U by neutron activation: 79, 72, 45, 44, 43, 42, 33, 33, 28, 27, 26, 24.5, 22, 21, 20 ppm U, with 5 samples over 100 ppm U (300, 202, 150, 150, 110) over a 12 km by 12 km area. These anomalies are associated with a high magnetic anomaly. Previous government mapping suggests that the U2 property is underlain by an Archean granitic plug wrapped within magnetic migmatitic quartz diorite and LaGuiche paragneisses (metasediments).
