Dirty Pretty Things Jewelry Helps Three Women Accessorize on TLC's Beauty Spaces

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - April 29, 2010) - Dirty Pretty Things, a jewelry company based in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, will appear on TLC Network's "Beauty Spaces." The episode will air nationally on WE tv on Friday, April 30 at 7:30 a.m. and on TLC on Saturday, May 1 at 7 a.m.

During the company's segment of the 30-minute show, Chrissy LoConti, CEO and designer, will help three women accessorize with the jewelry from both the Marie Neville Collection and the Medea Maple line. The women, all of different ages, will be shown how to incorporate the jewelry into their style and tastes while Chrissy explains the inspiration behind Dirty Pretty Things.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Dirty Pretty Things," said Andrea Ippolito, chief operating officer and national sales manager. "We are a young company, and being on Beauty Spaces will allow us to reach a much wider audience who will find a connection to the jewelry we've created. Our jewelry represents strength, protection and empowerment, so it has the ability to transcend many age groups, making it perfect for this show."

Dirty Pretty Things Jewelry creates an in-your-face fashion statement with a balance between bold attitude and feminine detail. The mission of Dirty Pretty Things is to connect to women and send an empowering message of balance between strong, fierce confidence and compassion.

Dirty Pretty Things Jewelry was established in 2008 by Chrissy. She, along with her sister and CFO Annemarie LoConti, fellow designer Sarah Piscazzi, and Ippolito, runs the company.

The company launched its first line, the Marie Neville Collection, in February 2009. This line incorporates edgier bullet and gun charms with softer elements such as Swarovski Crystals. The second line, Medea Maple - Sweet Revenge, launched in February 2010 and includes more feminine pieces such as pearls and a heart shaped locket.

"Many women can relate to the jewelry and message we've created," Chrissy said. "There is something for everyone and there are so many different ways to wear the pieces. Our hope is to inspire women to make a statement with the jewelry that they wear."
