Dixie Lee CEO Sends Wishes for a Safe and Happy Holiday Season

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - December 21, 2007) - Dixie Lee International Industries, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: DLII), parent company of the 40-year-old "Dixie Lee" brand name, with more than 80 franchised restaurants open, wishes all a safe and happy holiday.

"It's hard to believe that 2007 is drawing to a close," said Joe Murano, CEO of Dixie Lee International Industries. "We've accomplished a tremendous amount this year: our Canadian division has awarded our first franchises in Dubai and Ukraine; expanded our footprint in Canada, and consolidated corporate services to direct more dollars into our international expansion plans."

"The holiday season and the end of the calendar year is a time to take stock and recognize all the hard work we've done over the year. This year is no exception and I want to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of each and every one of you -- the board, our management team, our staff at every level and in every area of our organization, our franchisees, shareholders and investors -- I continue to be inspired by your creativity, dedication and passion. I wish you and your families all the best for the holiday season and the coming year. I hope all of you find some time over the next couple of weeks to relax and enjoy time with those closest to you. 2008 is going to be another great year for Dixie Lee."

"We're going to start the year off right with new menu items and our exciting 1950s-style Dixie Lee Diner concept to bring to the United States. By year's end we also plan to have new Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood franchises opened in China and India," added Ron Silvestri, CFO of Dixie Lee International Industries.

"From all of us at Dixie Lee, we wish you and your family a very happy New Year, and we look forward to serving you very soon."

About Dixie Lee

The Dixie Lee brand name started with the opening of the first Dixie Lee Chicken & Seafood restaurant in 1964 in Belleville, Ontario Canada. Building on an old Louisiana chicken recipe, the Dixie Lee name has grown to include subsidiary and affiliated companies accounting for more than 80 branded restaurants open and more than 20 in development. Dixie Lee restaurant concepts include full service, fast casual and take-out. Dixie Lee International Industries, Inc., (PINKSHEETS: DLII), is currently developing its newest franchised concept, the classic "Dixie Lee Diner," a 60- to 80-seat stainless steel diner reminiscent of the nostalgic 1940s and 1950s family diners featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dixie Lee International Industries, Inc. is expanding through both corporate-owned and franchised restaurant development throughout North America and abroad. www.dixieleechicken.com
