DnC Multimedia Completes Wireless Microsoft Sideshow Device

First of Its Kind Wireless Device Targeting Over 100 Million Vista-Based Users

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - January 17, 2008) - DnC Multimedia Corp. (OTCBB: DCNM) (formerly named PlanetLink Communications, Inc.) announced that it has developed its new portable media player (PMP) that wirelessly accesses the Sideshow feature in Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system. DnC Multimedia, Inc. creates and markets industry-changing products for the consumer electronics market as well as owns and operates the Pluginz Network, an eCommerce marketplace for multimedia software tools. The new Sideshow enabled product utilizes the Preface™ media platform by NVIDIA which supports Windows Sideshow. Preface™ by NVIDIA was chosen as a CES Innovations Honoree for 2007.

"The wireless Sideshow-accessibility of our portable media player (PMP) is a significant step towards the merging of MP3, video, and personal computer technology. Consumers benefit through enhanced convenience, connectivity, and features. DNC has developed this product utilizing the new NVIDIA chipset, enabling the PMP to wirelessly access Microsoft's Sideshow functionality. In certain markets, there have been examples of non-wireless Sideshow-enabled devices built into the exterior of a laptop that have sold out very quickly. However, we are particularly excited about our PMP, as management believes it will be the first such device to interface with Sideshow wirelessly. Management believes our PMP will be the first to work with a wide range of computers in the US as well as all other major markets. According to Bill Gates, Chairman of Microsoft, in his keynote speech at CES last week, there are currently over 100 million users of Windows Vista. While we cannot guarantee what our eventual market share will be, this equates to an enormous and immediate potential market for DnC's Sideshow PMP," commented Mr. Robert Lott, CEO of DnC Multimedia.

Windows Sideshow is a new technology in Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system that supports a secondary screen on your mobile PC. With this additional display, you can view important information whether your laptop is on, off, or in sleep mode. Windows Sideshow uses gadgets, convenient mini programs similar to software plug-ins, to extend information from your computer to other devices. Gadgets can run on a Windows Sideshow-compatible device and update the device with information from your computer. Using a gadget, you can view information, such as emails, spreadsheets, movies, and many other files and applications from your computer regardless of your mobile PC power state, which can save both time and battery life.
