Donovan Helps EIA Win Top International Honours for Marketing Excellence at Routes Americas' Marketing Awards

Alberta Agency Acquires Two New International Awards for the 'Language of Speed' Campaign - Competition First Place, and Competition Top Honour

DONOVAN, an Edmonton-based marketing communications agency, is celebrating the addition of another prestigious award to its repertoire of award-winning work for Edmonton International Airport (EIA). EIA was announced First Place winner in the North America category and was named the overall, Americas-wide competition winner for marketing excellence at the Routes Americas' Airport Marketing Awards gala in Lima, Peru on February 15, 2010. Dallas/Fort Worth Airport and Southwest Florida International airport received runner-up recognition in the North America category. As a result of these awards, EIA is on the shortlist for global recognition this September at World Routes 2010 hosted in Vancouver, British Columbia.

DONOVAN created the 'Language of Speed' campaign for EIA, which was the backbone of this win at Routes. The campaign has garnered 20 awards for EIA and the agency, including:

  • Back-to-back Peggy G. Hereford Award wins for Overall Marketing and Communications Excellence at the 2008 and 2009 Airports Council International-North America (ACI-NA) Awards
  • Three gold 2009 Davey Awards for marketing and communications excellence from the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA)
