Dougherty Named Senior VP at U.S. RE


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 1, 2007) - Arthur T. Dougherty, a reinsurance broker with more than 25 years' experience in the property and casualty sector, has joined U.S. RE Corporation as Senior Vice President, Tal P. Piccione, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, announced.

Dougherty comes to U.S. RE as Senior VP after six years at Benfield, Inc. where he was responsible for production, management, and placement of Treaty Reinsurance.

Dougherty began his career in the management training program at American Re after graduating from St. John's University with a B.S. Degree in Accounting.
