Drill Programs Underway on Tres-Or Ontario and Quebec Properties

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 2, 2007) - Tres-Or Resources Ltd. ("Tres-Or") (TSX VENTURE:TRS) is pleased to announce that Forages M. La Freniere Inc. diamond drilling has mobilized to the Lapointe Kimberlite 21-year mining leases, located about 80 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario. A vertical, 275 metre NQ-size guide hole is underway in preparation for the recommended 50-tonne macro-diamond test. The guide hole will permit recording and testing of the overburden materials and will document the nature of the kimberlite prior to the 50-tonne extraction test.

Caustic fusion tests of almost 4 tonnes of the Lapointe Kimberlite have returned results suggestive of a potentially low-grade but coarse size distribution. Such hints of a coarse distribution warrant further examination due to the large size of the body (+21 hectares) and low mining costs in the area. A 50 tonne macro-diamond test is recommended for collection and processing. The primary goal of the 50 tonne test is to recover macro-diamonds to verify the coarse size distribution.

Collection of the sample will employ a large diameter RC rig and drill one (1) hole in the central part of the Lapointe Kimberlite. This single hole is designed to collect 50 tonnes or more of kimberlite, depending on the depth reached and the casing/drill bit diameter. The large diameter RC drill rig will mobilize to the site later this month following completion of the guide hole program.

In addition to the Lapointe sampling program, Tres-Or has completed 700 metres of diamond drilling on certain targets related to the Notre Dame du Nord property and Quebec expansion project claims testing prospective geophysical targets identified from proprietary high resolution aeromagnetic surveys. Drill core samples from certain precious and base metal geophysical targets have been submitted to ACME Analytical Laboratories in Vancouver B.C. for multi-element analysis and fire assay for precious metals. Results are pending.

Drill testing of four (4) geophysical and indicator mineral targets on the Temagami Diamond Project, located southeast of the village of Temagami will commence immediately following the completion of the NQ-size drill hole at the Lapointe Kimberlite. The targets are located within a well defined indicator mineral dispersion train. A diamond was recovered in a till sample collected in the southern (down-ice) part of this dispersion train on Tres-Or's 100%-owned Temagami Project claims.
