Drilling Continues at Webbs Silver

SILVER MINES LIMITED

Drilling continues at Webbs Silver.

Silver Mines Limited (SVL) is pleased to announce that drilling has re-commenced on our 100% owned
Webbs Silver Project in NSW. The first phase of the program will consist of a minimum of 2,000m of
reverse circulation (RC) drilling to deliver the following key outcomes;

    * Confirm down dip extensions to the high grade silver lode below previous holes (drilled in
        the November 2009 program) at the Webbs Silver South Prospect. The resource model predicted these
        extensions, that were successfully intersected in the previous holes (RC67 and diamond hole pre-
        collars in RC58 and 67).
    * Test for lateral extensions to the lodes further south along strike at Webbs Silver South
        where geophysics shows an anomaly continuing.
    * Infill gaps in the current drilling pattern to improve the confidence in the inferred
        resource model at Webbs Silver South and increase the current tonnage and silver (copper, lead and
        zinc) content in the resource.
    * Test for lateral extensions to the Webbs Silver Adit Prospect lode to the north of
        previous drill holes where geophysics shows an anomaly. The anomaly tested to date has confirmed
        the existence of the lodes.

The updated resource model incorporating the November 2009 drilling program is nearing completion
with the final report expected in the coming days.
