DryShips Inc. Announces Cash Dividend of $0.20 per Common Share

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - January 9, 2008) - DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ : DRYS ) announced today
that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.20
per common share, payable January 31, 2008, to stockholders of record as
of January 18, 2008.
This is the eleventh consecutive quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per share
declared by the company since its listing on the NASDAQ Global Market in
February 2005.
