Dynamic Materials Corporation Schedules Fourth Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

BOULDER, CO--(Marketwire - February 9, 2010) - Dynamic Materials Corporation ("DMC") (NASDAQ: BOOM), the world's leading provider of explosion-welded clad metal plates, will announce fourth quarter and full-year financial results after the stock market closes on Thursday, March 4, 2010. The Company is currently working with its auditors and valuation consultants to complete annual goodwill impairment testing on its Oilfield Products segment. The Oilfield Products business, which accounted for approximately 11% of DMC's total revenue through the first nine months of fiscal 2009, originated from the Company's 2007 acquisition of DYNAenergetics, and was expanded by the October 2009 acquisition of LRI Oil Tools. The impairment test is being performed as of Dec. 31, 2009.
