EACOM Timber Corporation Announces Appointment of Terry A. Lyons as a Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2009) - EACOM Timber Corporation (NEX:ETR.H) announced today that effective September 24, 2009, Mr. Terry A. Lyons was appointed as a director of EACOM.

Mr. Lyons has over 35 years experience in the financing, development and management of natural resource, manufacturing, real estate and merchant banking companies with an extensive background in corporate restructuring activities. Mr. Lyons was a Managing Partner of Brookfield Asset Management in charge of the merchant banking and restructuring activities in the natural resource sector.

Pavilion Corporation as well as several private companies. In addition, Mr. Lyons is the past Chairman of the Mining Association of B.C., a Governor of the Olympic Foundation of Canada, former Chairman of Sport B.C., and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Richard Ievy School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
