EJustice Solutions Offers Free Integration With Law Enforcement Advanced DUI/DWI Reporting System (LEADRS)

ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwire - August 24, 2010) -  EJustice Solutions is pleased to announce our collaboration with the Law Enforcement Advanced DUI/DWI Reporting System (LEADRS) of Texas to provide automated LEADRS information transfer to the EJustice Online Records Management System (RMS). The combination of the two systems saves police officers time and money by eliminating duplicate data entry from LEADRS to the EJustice Online RMS.

LEADRS is grant funded through the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The program was developed by Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) in association with TxDOT. It is fully web-based and there are no license fees to Police Agencies to use LEADRS. For more details, visit http://texas.public.leadrs.org/

Bryan Bell, Lead Law Enforcement Liaison for LEADRS, stated, "Texas LEADRS and EJustice Solutions have successfully completed the integration process and are now fully interfaced. This partnership will be very beneficial to those who currently utilize EJustice Solutions as a Records Management System, and hopefully to many more down the road. The staff of Texas LEADRS is also very excited about the large number of potential new users to our program. This partnership is just another way that Texas LEADRS and EJustice Solutions are attempting to make our programs as easy to use and as user-friendly as possible."

EJustice Online RMS requires only a computer with an internet connection. It provides affordable, anywhere, anytime access using an Internet connection and a standard industry web browser such as Internet Explorer. Accessing information online at the point of incident improves officer safety as well as their ability to investigate and document crime effectively. By using EJustice Online, each agency captures, exchanges and shares information easier and faster. Agencies can sign-up and begin accessing EJustice Online RMS in as little as 14 days.

EJustice has teamed with Texas LEADRS to provide automated LEADRS information transfer to EJustice's Online RMS. Officers in Texas use LEADRS to standardize and simplify the entry of DUI/DWI arrest information, and to print the associated pre-filled forms approved by the District Attorney. LEADRS users have found that the LEADRS program has reduced their reporting time for DUI/DWI arrests by more than 50%.

Agencies using Texas LEADRS can now maximize their time savings by automatically transferring LEADRS arrest information and case files directly to the EJustice RMS for permanent storage and information sharing. The EJustice RMS provides affordable, anywhere, anytime access to an offender's past infractions allowing LEADRS information to be combined with other RMS information for use in investigative queries and administrative statistics. In addition, the EJustice RMS provides interfaces to other Texas data sharing initiatives such as TDEx and LEAP, allowing LEADRS arrest information to be shared with other agencies throughout the State of Texas.

"We are excited about our product integration with LEADRS and the great benefit this brings to our customers further advancing the availability of key information through our Online RMS," said Dennis Blanchette, President and CEO of EJustice Solutions, LLC. "It is through collaborative efforts with dedicated organizations such as TMPA that we are able to help our customers fight crime better, faster and cheaper."
