ENVIRON Announces Steve Washburn as New C.E.O.

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - October 31, 2007) - Ewire -- The Board of Directors of ENVIRON
Holdings, Inc. (ENVIRON) announced today that the Preferred Stockholders of
ENVIRON have elected Stephen T. Washburn to succeed Joseph H. Highland as
C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board. The transition is effective immediately.
One of ENVIRON's original Founders, Highland has been C.E.O. since 1990.
In making the announcement, the Board of Directors noted, "Joe's influence

Washburn, who has been with ENVIRON for much of its 25-year history, has
served most recently as Managing Principal of the firm's Northern
California operations and as a member of the Board of Directors. His
