ENVIRON Establishes Carbon Management Fund to Mark 25th Anniversary

ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - October 19, 2007) - Ewire -- Joseph H. Highland, Ph.D., C.E.O. of ENVIRON Holdings, Inc. (ENVIRON), is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has established the ENVIRON Carbon Management Fund (the Fund) to commemorate the firm's 25th anniversary this year. The Fund will be used to finance initiatives to reduce ENVIRON's energy consumption that go above and beyond the firm's "baseline" expectations for energy efficiency. The Fund will also help to support and extend a culture of energy conservation across ENVIRON, so that improving carbon management performance continues to be an increasingly integral part of the way we do business.

All ENVIRON employees have been invited to develop ideas for reducing energy usage associated with our business operations and apply to the Carbon Management Fund to finance those ideas. Applications will be evaluated by a team of ENVIRON's in-house experts in carbon management. Approved funding applications will be announced quarterly beginning in early 2008.

An international consultancy, ENVIRON works with clients to assess and manage potential environmental, sustainability, and health issues associated with their activities and products, both locally and globally. The firm currently employs 1,100 individuals across a network of 70 offices in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
