ENVISION Global Inc. Signs Agreement With the Alberta Research Council to Commercialize Patented Solar Thermal Wall System

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 12, 2009) - Edmonton based ENVISION Global Inc. ("ENVISION") is pleased to announce that it has signed a Licensing Agreement ("the Agreement") with the Alberta Research Council Inc. ("ARC") to commercialize its solar thermal panel technology, patented as "Wall-Integrated Thermal Solar Panel with Heat Storage Capacity".

Under the terms of the license ENVISION will work to commercialize this solar thermal wall technology in various worldwide markets, with exclusive rights in select commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-rise residential construction markets. This technology complements ENVISION's product line to offer complete building envelope solutions to architects and sustainable building designers around the world.

This patented solar thermal system stores energy provided by the sun. Sunlight delivers radiation to an external wall panel. This sunlight is stored as thermal energy via a Phase Change Material ("PCM") stored in special cells in the wall panel. As the outdoor temperature drops, this energy is re-emitted, and this re-emission creates a higher-temperature zone immediately adjacent to the wall surface. This higher-temperature zone reduces energy transmission through the wall and thus significantly lowers energy costs. This effective system can be integrated into the design of new buildings or retrofitted to improve existing buildings. It can be used to reduce building heating requirements in the winter, and it can be used to reduce building cooling requirements in the summer.

ENVISION is pleased to be collaborating with ARC to commercialize this technology in the Green Building marketplace. The two parties are currently strategizing with architects, builders, and other industry players to identify initial trial locations.

Garth Von Hagen, spokesperson for ENVISION stated: "We are very excited to have secured the License to commercialize this technology. Our License covers almost the entire world marketplace with respect to the commercial, industrial, institutional and high-rise residential building market. The addition of this solar thermal wall technology to our product line increases the profile and growth prospects for our company. Architects and other industry players that we have met with are extremely interested in working with ENVISION to integrate this solar thermal innovation into upcoming projects. The Commercial and Industrial Green Building market is forecasted to grow to over $60 billion annually over the next four years. Our company is already active in this marketplace and has an industry-experienced management team in place to capitalize on this opportunity. Our team has been involved in hundreds of commercial building projects and we will apply that experience to maximize this opportunity for our customers, for our shareholders, and for the citizens of Alberta through their ownership of the Alberta Research Council."
