ENXSuite Appoints David Puglia as CMO

Energy Performance Management Software Provider Expands Leadership Team to Launch Next Era of Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2010) - ENXSuite, a leading provider of on-demand energy performance management solutions formerly known as Carbonetworks, today announced that it has appointed enterprise marketing veteran David Puglia chief marketing officer. Puglia will also assume the role of SVP business development as ENXSuite aims to capture an even greater share of the multi-billion-dollar energy efficiency market in the US and abroad.

In his 22 years of industry experience, Puglia has worked with successful startups and market-leading enterprise vendors. He most recently held the position of chief marketing and technical officer of Alcatel-Lucent's enterprise division, where he helped drive strategy and transformation for growth and profitability. Prior to that, he was part of the executive team that led the successful exit and sale of Tablus to EMC/RSA, where he assumed the role of VP of marketing and product management for the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product line. Other experience includes senior leadership positions in marketing, product and business development at Aspect Communications, Aurigin, Oracle, Packeteer and other private and large public companies.

"With US companies alone spending $200 billion annually on energy efficiency, and most managing it using spreadsheets, Energy Performance Management has the potential to completely transform an enterprise's operations," Puglia said. "This is as significant a development for the enterprise as SCM, ERP, and CRM were in the past. ENXSuite's cloud-based approach and its established eco-system of sustainability vendors have the company poised for market leadership. I'm looking forward to joining the expanding executive team and a truly visionary company."

Puglia holds bachelor's degrees in psychology and computer science, as well as a number of patents for the processing of large intellectual property-oriented data sets for visualization and reporting.

"Having worked with David before, I know he brings to ENXSuite the perfect mix of skill, vision and creativity to take us to the next level," said Beatriz Infante, CEO, ENXSuite. "He is a well-respected enterprise marketing executive with an excellent track record of successful execution. ENXSuite is well positioned to define the next chapter in enterprise software, and I welcome David to the team that will seize this market opportunity and aggressively drive the company's growth."
