EP Global Communications Announces First Disability Awareness Night Scheduled for 2008

JOHNSTOWN, PA--(Marketwire - January 14, 2008) - EP Global Communications Inc. (OTCBB: EPGL), the parent company of Exceptional Parent (EP) magazine, Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), and the Washington Group, announced today the scheduling of their annual Disability Awareness Night (DAN) event with the Potomac Nationals. The event will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, VA. This will mark the fourth straight year that a DAN event has been hosted with the Potomac Nationals.

As part of every DAN event, just prior to the game at home plate, the EP Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award will be presented to a worthy honoree for their work, life, and advocacy on behalf of people with disabilities. The award is presented by EP Global Communications, Inc. and the EP Foundation for Education. The EP Maxwell J. Schleifer Distinguished Service Award is named after the late founder and editor-in-chief of Exceptional Parent, a true advocate for people with special needs.

DAN is a national program intended to increase awareness and support for the 54.6 million Americans classified as having some form of intellectual or physical disability in the United States. The DAN Program, which now encompasses both Major League and Minor League baseball venues, is supported nationally by MassMutual and its highly acclaimed SpecialCare(SM) program, which helps parents and caregivers effectively integrate financial planning discipline into a thorough, customized life plan for families caring for children and adults with disabilities and special needs. MassMutual has been the exclusive national financial services sponsor of DAN since 2003. In addition to raising awareness, the DAN event provides an opportunity for many clients and staff of local disability organizations to attend the ballgame, thanks to free tickets donated by EP Global Communications and the Washington Group.

"Our goal is to help all Americans understand that we will become a stronger nation and better human beings when we learn to regard people with disabilities and special needs as people to be respected, not as problems to be confronted," said Joseph M. Valenzano, President and CEO of EP Global Communications, Inc.

"Our sponsorship of this Disability Awareness Night deepens MassMutual's commitment to supporting people with disabilities and other special needs and their families," said Joanne Gruszkos, Director of MassMutual's SpecialCare(SM) program. "Through our work with EP, Easter Seals and our specially trained and certified Special Care Planners, we are trying to raise the general awareness of the unique needs of this population and provide the means for them to develop a life plan that will enable a special needs family to obtain the best quality of life possible."

Disability Awareness Night began in the summer of 2002 when Exceptional Parent magazine combined forces with the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox to create the first event of its kind focused on people with special needs.
