EVE's Luc Burgun Wins EDA360 Idol at Denali Party

Judges Cite Stage Presence, Singing and Strumming Abilities, Well-Chosen Tune With EDA-Related Lyrics of Winning Performance

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2010) - DAC Booth #510 - Luc Burgun, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of hardware/software co-verification leader EVE, Monday night won EDA360 Idol, the industry's top talent show, at the Denali Party during the 47th Design Automation Conference (DAC) here

"At the Denali Finale, all performers were exceptional," says Judge Simon Davidmann, president and CEO of Imperas. "Luc stood out for his stage presence, singing ability and a well-chosen song with lyrics everyone associated with EDA can relate to. His guitar playing was pretty good, too."

Adds Judge Dennis Brophy, director of strategic business development at Mentor Graphics Corporation: "Despite formidable competition, Luc Burgun showed us he really knows how to rock out. His rendition of 'Satisfaction' told us that successful transactions are indeed the key to satisfaction!"

Besting four other contestants, Dr. Burgun delighted party goers by performing the Rolling Stones classic, "Satisfaction," with lyrics rewritten to appeal to DAC attendees. He will be in the EVE Booth (#510) today to meet DAC attendees and discuss the benefits of ZeBu-Server, an affordable, flexible and scalable emulation system.
