EXTEDO eCTDmanager Suite Will Be Integrated Into Microsoft SharePoint 2010

MUNICH, GERMANY and OTTOBRUNN, GERMANY--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) -  EXTEDO, a key e-Regulatory Affairs solutions provider for life sciences firms and Microsoft Gold Partner, today announced that they will integrate their eCTDmanager Suite™ into the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 business collaboration platform.

EXTEDO will preview the integrated solution in booth #16 at ShareFEST 2010. The seamless integration of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and EXTEDO eCTDmanager Suite helps life sciences firms manage the entire lifecycle of their regulatory documents. With the integrated solution life sciences firms can view, review, compile, and publish information by using the standard SharePoint 2010 interface.

Key benefits that firms will derive from the integrated solution are -- reduced time to market, increased collaboration between different departments, and improved compliance with regulatory requirements.

The new solution will not impact the current integration in previous SharePoint versions. All planned functionality provided by the new integration will also be available in applications based on SharePoint 2010 such as NextDocs or CSC FirstPoint.

"EXTEDO has extensive experience with Microsoft's .NET Framework, which enables us to bring high quality solutions to the market that have been certified by Microsoft," said Oliver Bojahr, Vice President of Product Development at EXTEDO.

"We are seeing a number of firms in the Life Sciences industry that are using Microsoft SharePoint not only as their collaboration environment, but also for managing regulated processes and content," stated Christian Bohrmann, Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at EXTEDO.

Microsoft SharePoint 2010 will be widely available later this spring.
