EarthRenew Names Ron McIntosh, Director

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwire - January 20, 2010) - Ronald A. McIntosh, 67, was appointed to the
board of directors of privately-held EarthRenew Corporation, the company
announced here today. EarthRenew now has seven board members, four of
which are independent.
Mr. McIntosh's experience has been as an executive and board member with
mergers and acquisitions, public equity offerings, IPOs, corporate
transformations and repositioning, and executive transitions. He served on
public and private company boards including board chair, chair of health
safety and environment and reserves committee, and as a member of audit,
governance, compensation, and risk committees. He currently sits on the
boards of North American Energy Partners Inc., Edmonton; Advantage Oil and
Gas Ltd., Calgary and Fortress Energy Inc., Calgary.
Mr. McIntosh has over 40 years of experience in various operational and
executive roles including responsibilities in Canada, the United States and
internationally. His positions have included president and CEO of Navigo
Energy Inc., senior vice president and COO of Gulf Canada Resources,
vice-president of Exploration and International, Petro Canada, and
executive vice president and COO of Amerada Hess Canada; all were
Calgary-based.

Mr. McIntosh, a resident of Calgary, holds a degree in Geological
Engineering (1964) and a M.Sc. in Geology (1967) from the University of
Saskatchewan. He has also completed the Executive Development program at
Columbia University in New York and is a registered Professional Geologist
with APPEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and
Geophysicists of Alberta).
