Echo Metrix, Inc. Provides Third Quarter Business Update

SYOSSET, NY--(Marketwire - November 17, 2009) - ECHO METRIX, Inc., (OTCBB: EHMI) a leading developer of analytic applications for user-generated digital content (Web 2.0), today provided a business update for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009.

Following are key highlights from the quarter:

--  In August 2009, Steven Berman, a seasoned sales and marketing
    professional was retained to direct and manage the Company's sales and
    marketing initiatives.
--  On September 9, 2009, Echo Metrix and Rock Island Capital, LLC entered
    into a financing agreement.
--  On September 23, 2009, David Lewis, a member of Rock Island Capital,
    was appointed to the Company's board of directors.
--  On October 1, 2009, Peter Charles was appointed as the Company's Vice
    President and Director of Corporate Affairs.  He was subsequently elected
    to the board of directors on November 5, 2009.
--  Through its FamilySafe Division, Echo Metrix expanded the scope of its
    relationship with the AmberWatch Foundation, enhancing a core business

Jeffrey Greene, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "As difficult as the operating environment has been for us at Echo Metrix, we have taken tangible steps in the right direction to move the Company forward. The funding agreement with Rock Island Capital and the initial $2,000,000 tranche is a critical first step in reducing our $3.6 million in total liabilities. The financial environment appears to have stabilized, but for smaller companies, funding remains elusive. Notwithstanding, we remain dedicated to building the operation and completing our marketing strategy.

"We have bolstered the management and marketing team this quarter with the additions of Steven Berman, David Lewis and Peter Charles. Mr. Lewis joins us from Rock Island Capital as a member of the board of directors. In addition to the board position, Mr. Charles joins us on a full-time basis as Vice President and Director of Corporate Affairs where his primary focus will be to manage the public and investor relations effort at the Company. Our goal is to raise awareness of our products and services in the national and trade media, as well as deliver effective communications to our valued stakeholders. Steve Berman brings over 25 years of innovative sales success in the corporate world having held executive positions at both Time Warner Cable and The Yes Network. Steve will play a leadership role in our sales initiatives and help us develop strategic consumer brand partners that will spearhead our new B2B approach.
