Effective Control Transport Announces the End of the Biocognisafe Injunction

LONGUEUIL, QC--(Marketwire - April 25, 2008) - Effective Control Transport Inc. (PINKSHEETS: EFFC) (, a software company which specializes in technology that monitors a driver's vigilance, announced that the company has been notified by the Plaintiff in regards to the injunction that they will not appear in court to present their case for the filed injunction. As such, the injunction has ended as of 5pm April 24, 2008.

Raphael Huppe, CEO of ECT, stated, "We have expressed from the start that the injunction was initiated without merit or cause, and feel that this has been strongly substantiated by Biocognisafe's decision to not appear in court. This injunction has put unnecessary strain on our company and shareholders for the past 6 months, and Biocognisafe's countless delays including this last minute decision to not present their case in court clearly illustrates how unwarranted their accusations are and shows how Biocognisafe and its President, David Caroni, have used the legal avenue in a desperate attempt to gain unfair competition and undermine our credibility. As such, any further attempts by Biocognisafe and its President to prevent us from bringing the FOLO CRAM to market will be met with the most aggressive legal measures available. With that being said I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our shareholders for their patience and support."

Effective Control Transport is a software company that has pioneered the development of safety and security products for the transportation industry to help prevent accidents caused by inattentive and/or drowsy operators.
